  Club Name

The name of the club shall be Deans & District Rangers Supporters Club.

  Objective

The object is to promote, foster and encourage people to support Rangers Football Club.

  Management Committee

The business and affairs of the club shall be under the management of a committee consisting of four office bearers

a) President – Colin Robertson

b) Secretary – Ronnie McShane

c) Social Convenor – Brian McCrimmon, Scott Motion

d) Bus Convenor – Jimmy Carroll

These were the people nominated at the 2003 AGM.

  Vacancies – Management Committee

Vacancies on the management committee caused by death, resignation or by any other reason will be filled by the committee co-opting a suitable person who will seek confirmation at the first A.G.M. thereafter.

  AGM

The A.G.M. shall be held once a year.

  Misconduct

The committee shall have the power to call a member before them to explain misconduct. All complaints and appeals must be given in writing.

  Financial Statement

There will be a financial statement given at monthly and committee meetings.

  Committee Meetings

The management committee will meet at least once a month during the playing season and as often as may be necessary but not less than once a quarter

  Memberships

Adult -£10.00

Junior - £5.00

Juvenile - NIL

Fees will be decided at the A.G.M by the members present.  The fees shall be payable by a date fixed by the management committee.  Failure to pay by this date will result in the cancellation of membership.

  Convening of meetings

The secretary shall be responsible for convening all general meetings of the club and management committee and give due and proper notice.

  Minute Book

All meetings and minutes of proceedings will be recorded in a minute book kept for that purpose by the secretary or in his/her absence, by a deputy.

  Meeting Minutes

The minutes of each meeting will be submitted for approval at the following meeting and the signature of the chairman of that meeting will be taken as evidence that approval has been given.

  Formal Resolutions

Formal resolutions will be proposed and seconded and put to a vote by a show of hands.  The chairman shall have the casting vote in the event of a tied vote.

  Duties of office bearers

President - to preside over general meetings of the club and of the management committee

Secretary - To carry out the duties imposed in other sections of the regulations in respect of meetings.  To sign all notices of the club before they are displayed to club members.

Social Convenor- He/she will be responsible for organising and running all social events in connection with the club.  This shall include fund raising events.  He/she will be responsible for keeping correct accounts and banking all monies raised.

Bus Convenor - Is in sole charge of the bus on match days.

  A.G.M

The A.G.M. shall be held each year.  The business of the meeting shall be to approve the minutes of the previous A.G.M., to receive and consider the management committees report and the audited accounts for the previous year, to elect office bearers and committee members, to consider any other business.  Any notice for change of rules must be submitted in writing to the secretary 28 days in advance of the A.G.M.

An E.G.M. can be called at any time by 2/3 of the membership.

  Cheques

All cheques must be signed by two of the three members nominated.

Drink

is forbidden to be taken on the club bus.  Any one caught doing so shall be called before the general committee.

  Points System

Saturday Home Game – 3 points

Midweek Home Game – 1 point

General Meetings – 1 point

AGM – 3 points

European Home Games – 1 point

Away Game – 3points

Members paying bus fare but not attending home games shall be awarded three points. 

In the event of a ballot game members attending most games shall be given priority.

Bus fares

Members - £6

Junior members (14-16) - £3

Accompanied Juveniles go free

Non members £8.

Junior members ages will take effect as on 1st August.

Tickets

Names will be taken for tickets in advance and should be paid for at least three weeks in advance. If any member is not at a game and wishes a ticket for a future game he/she should contact the bus convenor as soon as possible.

It is the members responsibility to book tickets. If a member wishes to cancel a ticket he/she should contact the convenor at the latest one hour before the bus leaves.

If a member sends for away tickets from a season ticket and does not want to use it the bus will purchase the ticket
